Friday Night Live in the RATT - Red Wanting Blue
(CAB)
|
| Description: |
Fresh off their January 10th release of their new studio album, "From The Vanishing Point", Columbus, Ohio's Red Wanting Blue stops by The Ratt to entertain WJU students free of charge!
Here's a little about the band:
"Red Wanting Blue has been called the hardest working rock band in America. This isn’t surprising considering leader Scott Terry’s decade-long dedication to the road. His songs about its trials, sung in a remarkable radio-ready baritone, are backed by his expert band’s shimmering new-classic rock sound."

Friday Night Live in the RATT - Amanda Duncan and Dana Alexandra
(CAB)
|
| Description: |
Stop by The Ratt tonight and welcome Amanda Duncan and Dana Alexandra, two great female singer-songwriters, to WJU!
About Amanda:
"She is a soldier in the new army of musicians who rely only on themselves to make things happen whether it be branding her name with graphic art or even engineering half of her own record. She draws from a diverse blend of the crooning hits of the 30's and 40's and the pop-country of today, to craft what has become her light-hearted, head-bopping acoustic sound. 180 degrees from the winey, suicidal droning of many singer-songwriters, in a black and white world, Amanda Duncan is a burst of color."
(source: http://www.amandaduncan.com/about.html )
About Dana:
"Dana Alexandra, a York, Penn., native, has captivated audiences with her distinctive voice and accomplished songwriting. After an extensive college tour, she put out a second album in June — Wash Your Mouth Out — that was recorded in Nashville, Tenn., with producer Dustin Burnett."
